On Dec. 28, 1988, Yangzhou Auto Plastic Parts Co.,Ltd.was founded for developing Santana B2 PFT of SVW.

1989
In Dec. 1989 , Santana PFT and PSA PFT respectively passed the approval of SVW and Guangzhou PSA company, and achieved start of supply.

1990
In Jun. 1990, the local PFT passed national evaluation, and filled the gap of domestic PFT.

1991
In 1991, the local PFT of Santana substituted imported KD assembly entirely.

1992
In Feb. 1992,awarded as one of the first six "A" grade suppliers by SVW.

1993
In Jan. 1993, evaluated as Jiangsu Provincial High-Tech Enterprise.

1994
On Nov. 25, 1994, the project with annual output 350 thousands of auto PFTs started operation,Mr. He Guangyuan, the minister of Mechanical Industry attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

1995
In Jul. 1995, established Wuhan YAPP Auto Plastic Parts Co., Ltd, cooperated with Wuhan Plastic Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., both sides holding respectively 50% of shares.

1996
In Oct. 1996, passed the ISO9001 quality system validation.

1997
In Aug. 1997, became one of the "A" grade suppliers of FAW-VW.

1999
In Apr. 1999, became one of national key high-tech enterprises.
On Jul. 26, 1999, the PFT lab passed the approval of VW.
On Oct. 22, 1999, Mr. Hu Maoyuan , the president of SAIC, visited YAPP.
On Nov. 18 1999,Tangshan YAPP Auto Plastic Co.,Ltd.(YAPP holding 70% shares) was established.

2000
In Apr. 2000, the BOD and top management were re-electd, and Mr. Sun Yan was appointed as the president.
In May 2000, YAPP expected to fulfill the target of "Second Time to Start an Undertaking "by 2005:
      -- To achieve an annual output of 700 thousands PFTs;
      -- To keep more than 50% of the total market shares.
In Jun. 2000, Santana PFT assembly and filler pipe passed the "A" grade valuation by SVW again.
In Aug. 2000, passed the quality system validation of QS9000TUV by TUV;
In Dec. 2000, passed the validation of VDA6.1 by TUV.

2001
In May 2001, YAPP was awarded a contract to supply fuel system for POLO , marking YAPP has got the major progress in developing the new products.
In Jun. 2001, Inergy, ranked as NO.1 of the global auto FT supplier, provided technology support to YAPP on developing POLO FT for SVW.

2002
In Apr. 2002, YAPP's shareholders,SDIC and SAIC, were assigned 10% of equity shares of Yangzhou YAPP Auto Plastic Parts Co., Ltd by Yangzhou Cites and Towns Collective Industrial Union. After assigning, SDIC and SAIC hold respectively 66% and 34% of equity shares of YAPP.
In May 2002, Shanghai YAPP Fuel System Co, Ltd., the wholly-funded subsidiary of YAPP, went into operation in the town of Anting in Shanghai.
In Jun. 2002, was honored by SVW as 2001 Annual Top Suppliers .
In Sep. 2002, passed the quality management validation of TS16949 and environmental management system validation of ISO14001.
In Nov. 2002, the high level of PO visited YAPP for setting up a joint-venture.
From Dec. 2002 to Jan. 2003, State Car Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, according to Safety Performance Requirement and Test Method for Car Fuel Tank, made testing of respective safety performance for PFTs produced by YAPP and used by more 10 types of cars,such as Passart and Santana. All products passed the state validation.

2003
In Feb. 2003, the CEO & president of Inergy visited YAPP.
In Mar. 2003, YAPP Shanghai plant was registered for establishment.
In Apr. 2003, YAPP Wuhu plant was registered for establishment.
In Oct. 2003, YAPP Chongqing plant was registered for establishment.
In Dec. 2003, YAPP Tangshan plant was registered for establishment.
In 2003, YAPP fulfilled the development target of "Second time to start an undertaking" proposed in 2000 two years ahead of time: realized the sale of 840 thousand sets of PFTs, and kept more than 50% of car market share.

2004
On Mar. 3, 2004, YAPP Yangzhou new plant started construction and laid foundation. Mr. Sun Zhijun, the Secretary of Yangzhou Municipal Party Committee, together with Mr. Wang Xiaokang, the vice president of SDIC unveiled the foundation stone. Mr. Ji Jianye, the Mayor, made a congratulation speech.
In Mar. 2004, YAPP Yanchen plant was registered for establishment.
In Apr. 2004, YAPP Changchun plant was registered for establishment.
In May 2004, YAPP was honored by SVW as 2003 Annual Excellent Supplier Silver Medal.
In Jun. 2004, YAPP was awarded the honorary title of Top 100 Enterpises in Comprehensive Competitive Strength.
In Nov. 2004, YAPP moved wholly to the new plant and went into operation successfully.
In Dec. 2004, YAPP was distinguished from 190 thousand statistical manufacturing enterprises and was awarded the title of China Top1000 Manufacturing Enterprises with Latent Ability to Grow up by State Statistical Bureau and China Medium and Small Enterprise International Cooperation Association.
In Dec. 2004, YAPP continued to hold Annual Top Supplier Award of Changan FORD.
On Dec. 17, 2004, a protocol was signed by YAPP and INERGY, the largest auto FT supplier in the world, in Beijing on setting up a joint venture.

2005
In Jan. 2005, YAPP was approved as China Auto Parts Credit Index Sample Enterprise.
In Mar. 2005, YAPP passed urgrade review of the "A" grade suppliers by SVW.
In May 2005, CEO and President of INERGY inspected YAPP new plant.
In Aug. 2005, YAPP fixed its development strategy to be "open cooperation and independent development" .
On Sep. 29, 2005, Technique Transfer Agreement was signed between Indian ZAAPL and YAPP, which rewrote the history of PFT industry in China from importing froeign technology to transferring technology abroad.

2006
On Mar. 22, 2006, YAPP formally joined into globally synchronized development system of GM and became R&D enterprise as well as supplier of EPSILON Ⅱ project in China, which made a historic breakthrough in independent product development synchronously for a multinational enterprise.
On Mar. 28, 2006, a grand ceremony was held in Yangzhou to unveil the new company name “YAPP Automotive Parts Co., Ltd.” as well as lay a foundation for new R&D center. Distinguished guests Wang Xiaokang--SDIC Vice President and Chen Yingda-SAIC Vice President attended the ceremony. Around RMB 120 million was invested in the construction of R&D Center with first phase of construction completed in Dec. 2006.
